The members of The Beit Elisha Community are persons with developmental disabilities, aged 18 and up, referred to Beit Elisha by the Service for Rehabilitation of the Israeli Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services. Members include people suffering from serious learning disabilities, behavioral and social adaptation disabilities, individuals with rare genetic diseases, and with brain injuries.
Suitable candidates interested in placement at the Beit Elisha Community are invited with their guardians to meet with the staff and to tour the premises. They are later invited to spend a day in one of the community workshops, and finally, to sleep over for one or more nights in one of the Beit Elisha houses.
