Kamah - Curative Community at Harduf is a non-profit organization established in 1993, based at Kibbutz Harduf in the beautiful hills of the Western Galilee. Kamah aims to create a warm protective community where people with special needs can integrate within a wider community and fulfill their own unique potential. It is inspired by Anthroposophy, a holistic approach that is committed to education, social activism, organic agriculture and support for challenged populations.
Kamah operates two main programs:
· The Tuvia Community offers therapeutic and residential care for 60 at risk children and teens with special educational needs that have been removed from their homes.
· The Rehabilitative Community at Beit Elisha provides therapeutic care, sheltered housing, vocational training
and opportunities for 50 developmentally and physically disabled adults.
