The members work on a daily basis in Beit Elisha’s
workshops. The workshops provide vocational training in
weaving, papermaking, medicinal plants, pottery, cooking and
housekeeping. The workshops produce commercial,
high-standard products. These vocational opportunities offer interesting creative employment, enable
the members to acquire
job related skills, and give them the opportunity to form social relationships with co-workers. The beautiful and high standard products are based on market
demands and are sold commercially. The fine artisanship engenders a sense of pride and self-esteem
among the members.
